INNER CHILD SUMMER CAMP

playful art therapy workshops

What is inner child summer camp?

In working with youth, my goal is to engage them in fun conversation that also gives them lasting tools and skills to process their emotions and navigate the changing world. We talk about the brain-body connection, staying true to yourself, coping skills, what anxiety feels like and how to be kind to our minds.

One of my biggest realizations working with both youth and adults is that my adult clients often need the exact same thing as my youth clients. Adults need the information and the processing, and they also need the gentleness and playful energy.

Learning about yourself, your emotions and your thought process doesn't have to be boring.

Why get your mental health information from books and lectures when you can play and have fun while learning? We are better able to absorb new information and integrate it into our lives when we are in approaching self-exploration from a place of curiosity rather than fear.

Inner child summer camp provides a playful environment for self-reflection and offer you tools and skills that you can take with you into your day-to-day life. Whether it is learning what coping skills work for you, clarifying your values or giving yourself permission to play, there is something for everyone at this summer workshop series.

What is your inner child?
