Self-Love Club is Back!

It's official. My absolute favourite group to facilitate is back! This year, SELF-LOVE CLUB starts on Valentine’s Day.

I am hosting both in-person and online options for this group: Tuesday evenings in my studio in Vancouver (6:00 - 8:00 pm), and Saturday mornings on Zoom (10:00 am - 12:00 pm PST).


The format of the group includes a check-in, journalling, short meditation or visualization, art-making time and then a group share. Independent art-making is prioritized, with 45 minutes to sink into the art prompt and create meaning through art.


Invest in yourself.

👯‍♀️ Your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you will have. As we focus on nurturing our relationship with ourselves, we begin to connect with our own needs and cultivate more self-love. Joining group therapy offers an option to invest in yourself for ¼ of the price of individual therapy.


The 5 love languages.

♥️ This 6-week art therapy group explores the 5 love languages, turning inward and exploring love for self. Each week the group explores a different love language: quality time, gifts, physical touch, words of affirmation and acts of service. We turn our attention inwards to find our personal self-love language.


Let's art about it.

👩🏻‍🎨 Creativity in community, guided in a warm and welcoming environment. Therapeutic art-making helps to consider themes of self-compassion and love in a creative way. This is a process-oriented group. We create art together in community without any art rules. No art experience is needed. All art is good art.


Guidance from a therapist.

✨ I have run this group 3 times now and uncover something new about myself each time. Exploring themes of love and compassion can be vulnerable. I hope to create a warm and welcoming space to express yourself, and offer prompts for further reflection.


🤗 There’s inevitably tears and laughter and that comes with openness and vulnerability in community. And I can honestly say that this exploration has changed my life in many ways. More on this here.
